Lantern Prep exists because most Gulf nursing exam-prep material is sold as "recalled" or "actual" exam questions — content that violates the confidentiality undertaking every candidate signs, and that can put a licence application at risk. We took the opposite path. This page explains exactly how our questions are made.
Questions are authored to the public examination blueprint in the SCFHS Saudi Nursing Licensure Examination (SNLE) Applicant Guide: Nursing Fundamentals 20%, Adult Nursing 40%, Maternal-Child Nursing 30%, Nursing Management & Leadership 10%. The Gulf regulators' RN exams share this common core, which is why one rigorous bank serves candidates for SCFHS, DHA, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOHAP, and QCHP.
Every question is written strictly from a citable passage in an open, authoritative nursing reference, and stores that citation. Our primary references are the Open RN textbook series (Nursing Fundamentals, Nursing Skills, Nursing Pharmacology, and related titles) by Ernstmeyer & Christman, Open Resources for Nursing, Chippewa Valley Technical College, published by WisTech Open and used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Where content is standard consensus material, rationales may also cross-reference the classic textbooks named in the SCFHS guide (e.g., Brunner & Suddarth, Potter & Perry, Kozier & Erb, Lippincott references). No fact is included that cannot be traced to its cited source.
Before any question is published, an independent verification pass re-checks it against the cited source text: the keyed answer must be unambiguously correct per the source, and every distractor clearly wrong. Questions that fail are corrected or removed. Automated quality gates also check every bank for duplicate items and answer-pattern tells.
If you believe a question or rationale is wrong, email support@getlanternprep.com with the question ID shown in the review screen. Reports are checked against the cited source and corrections ship in the next content update — the "content last updated" stamp on each page tells you when that was.
We will never publish recalled, remembered, leaked, or actual examination items; never claim affiliation with any regulator; and never reproduce NCLEX® or other proprietary test content. Original questions, cited sources, independent verification — that's the whole method.
Lantern Prep is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by SCFHS, DHA, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOHAP, QCHP, Prometric, or any regulator or testing provider. Regulator and provider names are used only to identify the exams candidates prepare for.
